EDL / TEMPORARY POWER
A few useful answers.
Practical information to help you prepare your event, contracting or equipment enquiry.
What do you need to prepare a quote?
Your contact details, location, dates and a description of the work or equipment that needs power. A floor plan or equipment list helps if you have one.
Can I enquire before my floor plan is final?
Yes. Send the current layout and identify what may change so it can be discussed as part of the brief.
Do I need to know which switchboard to hire?
Describe the equipment and site requirements if you are unsure. EDL can discuss the information needed to select an appropriate setup.
How are installation and pack-down arranged?
Include venue access, bump-in and bump-out times in your enquiry. Confirm the agreed arrangements in your quote and booking.
Can equipment be collected or delivered?
Tell us which arrangement you need and the site or collection dates. Confirm availability and logistics with the office before making plans.
Can you provide support during an event?
Include the event hours and the support you need in your enquiry so coverage can be discussed and confirmed.
Does adding equipment to an enquiry reserve it?
No. It records your request. Availability, suitability, pricing and booking are confirmed separately.
What files can I send?
The enquiry form accepts one PDF, PNG or JPG up to 2 MB. For a larger set of drawings, contact the office to arrange how to share them.
