Equipment Allowed Onsite

The following shows examples of the types of electrical equipment which are allowed/disallowed onsite.

Any hardwiring must be double insulated and installed by a licensed Electrician.

Every plug-in piece of electrical equipment needs to be tested and tagged.

All electrical works MUST COMPLY with AS/NZS 3000:2007 electrical wiring rules and AS/NZS 3002:2008 shows and carnivals.

Travel Adapters

Double Adapters

Are not allowed on site as they have no overload protection.

Power Boards

Power boards are allowed but must be test and tagged.

Uncovered Transformers

Are not allowed as they have exposed terminals.

Covered Transformers

Exposed Junctions

Are not allowed as they are not double insulated.

Junction Boxes

Bullet Connectors

Are not allowed unless contained in a Junction Box.
